Hi, I’m Bucky! I’m a non-binary artist and writer. I also ran and owned Dark Side Comics for six amazing years. I started Velvet Molotov in 2025, after noticing a distinct lack of queer groups in the local area.

Katy is a crocheter, painter, photographer, digital and fine artist based in Essex. When not creating, she can often be found in nature, reading a good book, or curling up with Bucky and their Maine Coon, Laszlo.

Louie Whitmarsh is an illustrator based in Chelmsford with a Diploma in Art, Design, & Media from Chelmsford College. He enjoys digital painting, using texture brushes to make bright and colourful illustrations, or drawing people as inflated balloons.

Katie is a freelance Illustrator & Educator based in Basildon, Essex. She uses multimedia techniques to create work across a range of contexts, including editorial, advertising, surface patterns as well as large scale works such as window paintings and murals.

I'm Aki McKenzi, an indie author based in North Essex. My first novel - Book One of The Legacy of the Neo Warriors - is out now.
